The AEW Revolution pay-per-view aired live on Sunday night and The Gunns defended the AEW World Tag Team Titles against The Acclaimed, Jay Lethal & Jeff Jarrett and Orange Cassidy & Danhausen in a fatal four way match.
The Gunns successfully defend their AEW World Tag Team Titles and after the match they were interviewed by Renee Paquette. Unfortunately for The Gunns, FTR stole the spotlight as they returned to TV and made it clear that they have their sights set on winning the AEW World Tag Team Titles. According to the WRKD Wrestling account the current plan is for FTR to be the team to take the AEW World Tag Team Titles from The Gunns.
It’s not exactly clear when they could be winning the titles as there have been a lot of questions regarding FTR’s status with AEW moving forward. Dax Harwood hasn’t been shy about letting the world know that their contracts with All Elite Wrestling are up in April. Whether or not FTR will be signing new deals remains to be seen.
