WrestleMania is quickly approaching and it’s safe to say that the two night event will likely feature some big moments that will get fans talking. Everyone knows that the excitement doesn’t end with WrestleMania as the Raw after WrestleMania has a reputation for being one of the most exciting shows of the year.
Typically the Raw after WrestleMania features some surprises and in the past fans have seen some big debuts. WrestleVotes recently spoke to GiveMeSport about plans for the show and it was speculated that the majority of the surprises this year will be surprises that take place within storylines rather than debuts.
However, at least one return is rumored for the Raw after WrestleMania as Matt Cardona (Zack Ryder) has been named as a former WWE Superstar who could be making his way back to the company.
“I think you might get one debut. I think you might get Zack Ryder. I think you may get an NXT call-up, but I don’t think five, six or seven people are showing up because there’s just not reality. If you bring in 10 people to a roster that can’t even use everybody already, you have to look at what you are doing?”
Matt Cardona was released from WWE in 2020 and has since gone on to find success working with various companies including Impact Wrestling, GCW, AEW, NWA as well as numerous independent promotions. His return has been rumored for some time, so it will be interesting to see if he does indeed show up on the Raw after WrestleMania. Stay tuned for updates.
