The NXT roster will be looking to step into the spotlight once again as the Deadline premium live event is set to take place on Saturday, December 9 at the Total Mortgage Arena in Bridgeport, CT.
Ahead of the show PWInsider is reporting that the word going around the NXT tapings on Tuesday is that Cora Jade will be at Deadline this weekend. It has not been confirmed whether or not there are plans for Cora Jade to appear on camera.
Cora Jade’s last match took place on the July 25 episode of NXT when she faced off against Dana Brooke in a Kendo Stick match. Following the match Cora Jade cleared out her locker and declared that she was leaving NXT. It was rumored that she could be joining the main roster, but obviously that hasn’t happened yet.
Back in October, Cora Jade addressed questions about when she would return to NXT, and she had the following response: “Stop asking me to return to @WWENXT. It sucks there and I’m better than everyone. Ask me about something that’s worth my time. Im sick of it.”
Stay tuned for more updates on Cora Jade’s status as they become available.
