This week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown is set to take place from Portland, OR. So far WWE has confirmed that Shinsuke Nakamura will be defending the WWE United States Championship against LA Knight, and Tiffany Stratton is also set to appear.
PWInsider is reporting that former WWE Champion Drew McIntyre is in Portland. As of right now he is not written into tonight’s show. It’s possible that Drew could end up working a dark match at the tapings, but it’s being said that those plans aren’t set.
Drew McIntyre made a surprise appearance on SmackDown last week when he confronted Cody Rhodes and interrupted his promo. McIntyre offered to help Cody, but Cody declined as The Scottish Warrior was leaving he told Cody to watch his back as Kevin Owens attacked The American Nightmare from behind. He also made an appearance during the main event.
WWE is currently focusing on the following points for SmackDown tonight:

– New WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton to address the WWE Universe
