Right now all eyes are looking ahead to WrestleMania, but before we know it fans will be talking about SummerSlam, and then eventually Survivor Series.
We’re still months away from the annual pay-per-view, but local ads in Chicago are already promoting a big match for the show.
Over the last few years Survivor Series has adopted a Raw vs. SmackDown theme, and it looks like that theme could be continuing in 2019.
A fan recently shared a photo of a local ad promoting Team Raw (Bobby Lashley, Drew McIntyre, Roman Reigns, Finn Balor and Braun Strowman) vs. Team SmackDown (Rey Mysterio, Randy Orton, AJ Styles, Kevin Owens and Samoa Joe).
As always plans could change before now and Survivor Series, and at this point there’s no telling if these Superstars will still be part of the brands they’re currently being advertised for by the time the pay-per-view airs.
