Over the weekend NXT Halloween Havoc aired live and Tony D’Angelo defeated Oba Femi to retain the NXT North American Championship. Following Femi’s loss at NXT Halloween Havoc everyone is wondering what could be next for the former champion.
Marc of PWN recently took to social media to noted that it’s rumored that Oba Femi said his goodbyes to NXT at Halloween Havoc and is now main roster bound. The belief is that Femi could be on Raw as early as tonight.
“Rumors are circulating that Oba Femi said his goodbyes last night at #HalloweenHavoc – to the NXT Roster. The belief is that he may be #WWERaw bound, potentially as early as tonight. What are your thoughts, if true?”
However, it’s worth noting that Marc also stated these are rumors which should be taken with a grain of salt for now. It’s also worth noting that Corey Brennan of Fightful is reporting that he hasn’t heard anything to suggest that Oba Femi is getting called up, and that many see him as next in line for the NXT Championship.
Raw will take place from the Giant Center in Hershey, PA tonight which is where NXT Halloween Havoc was held last night, so one way or another it will be interesting to see how things play out.
