AJ Styles is, and has been the WWE Champion for quite sometime, and throughout the course of his title reign he’s taken on all comers.
Styles recently defended the title against Rusev at Extreme Rules, and now The Phenomenal One is looking ahead to SummerSlam.
According to CageSideSeats, Styles is currently penciled in to face, and defeat, Samoa Joe at SummerSlam.
Fans who have been following Styles and Joe for a while know that the two Superstars put on some excellent matches during their time in TNA, so there’s no reason to expect anything less than the best from both of them in WWE.
Furthermore, it looks like their rivalry could extend beyond SummerSlam, as local advertisements are promoting Styles vs. Joe for the Hell in a Cell pay-per-view in September.
