The Royal Rumble has come and gone which means we’re officially on the road to WrestleMania 39. With WrestleMania season comes Hall of Fame inductions and it’s expected that some announcements will be made in the coming weeks.
Originally former WWE Champion Batista was announced for the 2020 Hall of Fame class, but his induction was pushed back due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2021 a Hall of Fame induction ceremony was held inside the ThunderDome, but Batista confirmed he asked to be inducted at a future ceremony when he said, “By my request they have agreed to induct me at a future ceremony where I’ll be able to properly thank the fans and people who made my career possible.”
During a recent interview with Comicbook.com, Batista noted that he’s hoping to be inducted this year. “I hope so, but I can’t say for sure. I can say that I’m trying. I am trying,” Batista said.
So far WWE has yet to officially confirm any of the inductees for the 2023 Hall of Fame class. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
