This week’s episode of Raw and SmackDown Live were two of the biggest shows of the year, as they featured some big moments, and fans can expect the excitement to continue next week when the two night WWE Superstar Shake-Up kicks off on Monday.
With Asuka putting her streak on the line to challenge for the SmackDown Women’s Championship on Sunday, there was some speculation that she might win the title and join the SmackDown Live brand. Even though Charlotte won the match and ended the streak, it looks like we could see Asuka end up joining SmackDown anyway.
In what could be a potential spoiler for the Superstar Shake-Up, the BanCorp South Arena is advertising Asuka for a SmackDown branded WWE live event on June 10th. The advertisement reads as follows:
“You’ll see WWE Champion AJ Styles vs. Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Baron Corbin in a Triple Threat Match for the WWE Championship! Also see, Women’s Champion Charlotte, Tag Team Champions – The Usos, Bobby Roode, Asuka, Becky Lynch, Randy Orton and many more!”
As always, cards are subject to change, but it is interesting that Asuka is the only current Raw Superstar who is being advertised for the event.
