TLC has come and gone, and now all eyes are looking ahead to the WWE Survivor Series pay-per-view next month. WWE has confirmed that Survivor Series will have a Raw vs. SmackDown Live theme this year, and it looks like we could be seeing a SmackDown star on Raw tonight.
PWInsider is reporting that SmackDown Live Commissioner Shane McMahon is backstage at Raw. McMahon’s return to TV has been advertised for tomorrow’s episode of SmackDown Live, but Shane flew into Green Bay, WI, this morning.
WWE has been forced to make changes to their creative plans recently due to health issues, so although it’s not confirmed that he’ll be appearing on the show tonight, it’s possible that he will make an appearance to start the build for Survivor Series.
WWE Champion Jinder Mahal challenged Universal Champion Brock Lesnar to a match at Survivor Series last week on SmackDown Live, and Brock will be making his return to TV on Raw tonight to answer the challenge.
The Survivor Series pay-per-view will air live on the WWE Network on Sunday, November 19.
