Recently WWE had to release quite a few talents due to coronavirus related budget cuts, and former Intercontinental Champion Zack Ryder was among the names released.
Fans have been waiting to see where Ryder will end up next, and now it seems that a trademark filing may be a hint.
Ryder, real name Matt Cardona, has filed to trademark “Internet Champion” and “Alwayz Ready” and he has retained the services of attorney Michael E. Dockins who handles trademarks for several wrestlers in AEW.
It’s also worth noting that shortly after Zack Ryder was released Cody Rhodes shared a lengthy social media post where he praised Ryder.
Stay tuned for updates on his status.
