This week on WWE Monday Night Raw, Baron Corbin told Heath Slater & Rhyno that he only had room for one of them on the roster, and he told them that one of them should just quit and make it easy on the other guy.
However, Slater & Rhyno didn’t really like that answer, so General Manager Baron Corbin booked the former SmackDown Tag Team Champions in a singles match.
Slater ended up winning the match, so in the end it was Rhyno who lost his job.
It was speculated on Wrestling Observer Radio that the angle may have been done so that he can work as a coach at the Performance Center, or that he could end up working in NXT.
