Possible Reason For Awkward Finish To Asuka vs. Mickie James On WWE Raw

This week’s episode of Monday Night Raw featured a match which saw Mickie James challenge Asuka for the Raw Women’s Championship, and the awkward finish to the match got a lot of people talking.

Asuka put Mickie in the Asuka Lock, and as the hold was applied the referee called for the bell and stated that Mickie was no longer able to compete.

Mickie James looked confused by the awkward ending to the match, but it looks like she may have suffered an injury.

While Mickie’s injury hasn’t been confirmed, it’s worth noting that WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley took to Twitter to say that he heard her shoulder popped out. Lance Storm also indicated that the referee said her shoulder popped out.

Either way it looks like Mickie took a loss and is out of the title picture, as Zelina Vega made it clear that she wants a shot at the Raw Women’s Championship.
