Charlotte has been on a roll these past few months, she brought prestige to the Women’s Championship and she established herself as the top heel in the Women’s division. Charlotte’s run with the title ended on Monday night when she dropped the belt to Sasha Banks after Sasha made Charlotte tap out.
It was noted by Bryan Alvarez and Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio that they’ve heard Charlotte had requested time off, but that’s not confirmed.
WWE Tough Enough returned last year and there were a few fan favorites on the show. One of the fan favorites was ZZ and his popularity was enough to earn him a WWE developmental contract.
Apparently things didn’t work out so well for ZZ as Pro Wrestling Sheet is reporting that WWE has released him. No word on why he was released.
