The King of the Ring tournament was once one of the most prestigious tournaments in the business, and it is well known to wrestling fans. For years wrestling fans have wondered if WWE could ever hold a Queen of the Ring tournament, and it was recently reported that Queen of the Ring will kick off on the October 8th episode of SmackDown, and continue on the October 11th episode of Raw.
Now Andrew Zarian of the Mat Men Pro Wrestling podcast is reporting that current plans call for the Queen of the Ring finals to take place in Saudi Arabia in October.

A few years ago WWE signed a deal with Saudi Arabia, and since then the company has been putting on two pay-per-view events per year in Saudi Arabia, but the coronavirus pandemic prevented that from happening last year. It’s been rumored that WWE will be returning to Saudi Arabia at some point this year, and Andrew Zarian recently reported that 10/21 could be a potential date for WWE’s return.
