Possible Plans For Tag Team Title Match Next Week Following Jey Uso Walking Out On The Bloodline

After the main event at the 2023 Royal Rumble things fell apart between Sami Zayn and The Bloodline, and Jey Uso walked out as The Bloodline beat down Sami Zayn. On the most recent episode of SmackDown it was revealed that Jey has not communicated with The Bloodline since the Royal Rumble, but Jimmy assured Roman that Jey will be present for the SmackDown Tag Team Title match later this week.

Braun Strowman and Ricochet are currently set to challenge for the SmackDown Tag Team Titles on Friday which leads to a lot of questions about how Jey could return.

Dave Meltzer recently addressed the match on Wrestling Observer Radio and he speculated that Solo Sikoa could take Jey Uso’s place in the match similar to how Sami Zayn stepped in for Jimmy Uso during the Raw Tag Team Title match a few weeks ago. It was noted that Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa recently faced Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson in a dark match which might be a sign that WWE is giving them experience as a team.
