John Cena is still taking time off to heal his broken nose and WWE is talking about a backup plan if Cena can’t perform for the “Winner Takes All” match against Seth Rollins. One possible scenario being thrown around according to F4WOnline is to have Rollins defend his title against Randy Orton in a singles match.
Another scenario that’s reportedly being talked about is a triple threat match where Seth Rollins defends his title against Sheamus and Randy Orton. This is why WWE had Sheamus get involved in the Orton/Rollins match on Monday.
If Cena is able to compete the “Winner Takes All” match will take place as planned and Sheamus will continue to feud with Orton.
WWE is still waiting for an update on John Cena’s status and will likely be making a decision before Monday.
