The first ever WWE Stomping Grounds pay-per-view aired live on the WWE Network on Sunday night, and Seth Rollins defended his Universal Championship against Baron Corbin in the main event.
Corbin selected a special guest referee for the main event who was revealed to be none other than Lacey Evans, and Evans was definitely not an impartial referee.
Near the end of the match Becky Lynch came out to attack Evans, and after Seth Rollins picked up the victory he celebrated with Becky as the show went off the air.
Dave Meltzer and Bryan Alvarez noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that WWE appears to be setting up a mixed tag team match which would see Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch team up to face Lacey Evans and Baron Corbin at Extreme Rules.
Even though Seth picked up a win over Corbin, and Becky picked up a win over Evans on Sunday night it looks like these feuds may not be over.
