Last weekend the Royal Rumble aired live from San Antonio and Edge made his return when he entered the 30 man Royal Rumble match. Edge wasn’t in the match long as he was more focused on continuing his feud with The Judgement Day.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter notes that WWE seems to be heading toward Edge & Beth Phoenix vs. Rhea Ripley & Finn Balor at Elimination Chamber which could lead to the originally planned Edge vs. Finn Balor match at WrestleMania.
There were plans for Brood Edge vs. Demon Finn Balor in a Hell in a Cell match at Royal Rumble, but obviously that didn’t happen and there’s speculation that it could be added to the WrestleMania 39 card. However, these plans have not been confirmed just yet.
