Every Superstar wants their own WrestleMania Moment. It is a special thing they can hold onto with pride and know their efforts in sports entertainment will live on forever due to their display on the Grandest Stage Of Them All.
Carmella has held onto the Women’s Money In The Bank briefcase for quite a while and although she came close to cashing it in a couple of times she has been able to hang onto her briefcase. She really likes being Miss Money In The Bank. It might have something to do with the fact that she had to win it twice and since themed all of her ring attire around the gimmick.
But it looks like Carmella needs to cash in soon enough and it very well could happen at WrestleMania.
“Carmella. I’m told could very well cash in her Money In The Bank at WrestleMania and lose,” Brad Shepard said on Backstage In WWE. “Apparently from what I’ve heard, she’s okay with it. She’s down to do it. She basically knows Asuka is going to be champ and she doesn’t have a chance of winning the championship from her so it’s kinda like, ‘you might as well make the most of losing, why not WrestleMania?'”
So Mella might be dropping her favorite luggage at WrestleMania, but at least it will happen at Mania. I can totally see her coming and trying to cash in after Asuka wins the SmackDown Women’s Title only to be kicked in the face very hard by the Empress Of Tomorrow and ending the match very early while looking at the lights at the Show Of Shows.
Of course, this makes the most sense if Asuka shows up at Fastlane or sometime after that to challenge Charlotte Flair for the SmackDown Women’s Championship. But apparently, that could be the plan which is a rather good one if they’re planning to keep Asuka and Ronda Rousey separate until WrestleMania 35.
