The Dudley Boyz were the second superstars announced for this year’s Hall of Fame last week after Goldberg was declared as the headliner ahead of this year’s Royal Rumble back in January. Even though it is now known that the former stars will be going into this year’s class, the person inducting them still remains a mystery.
On his most recent podcast, former WWE star Sean Waltman, better known as X-Pac speculated that it could be Paul Heyman who is asked to do the honors but didn’t rule out the prospect of WWE throwing out a curveball and allowing Spike Dudley to induct his former brothers either.
The Wrestling Observer has already reported that it is likely that Heyman will be the man who is inducting former WCW star Goldberg into the class this year, so it is unlikely that the advocate for the current Universal Champion Brock Lesnar would be able to induct all three stars in the same night.
Whilst nothing has been announced yet, but it seems that given Heyman’s ties to ECW and the fact that The Dudley Boyz made a name for themselves as part of his show, surely he would be the best person to finally allow them to take their place amongst wrestling’s elite.
