They say that anything can happen when you watch WWE and this week on Raw fans saw an interesting debut. During The New Day vs. LWO tornado tag team match, a masked wrestler appeared and attacked Dragon Lee and Rey Mysterio. The masked man appeared to share a lot of similarities to Chad Gable, but Gable later denied that he was the man under the mask during a backstage interview.
WWE recently filed a trademark for “Grande Americano” with the USPTO on March 13, 2025 and there’s been some speculation that the trademark could be related to the masked wrestler who debuted on Raw. The description for the trademark reads as follows:
“Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibitions and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer rendered live and through broadcast media including television and radio, and via the internet or commercial online service; providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network; providing information in the fields of sports and entertainment via an online community portal; providing a website in the field of sports entertainment information; fan club services, namely, organizing sporting events in the field of wrestling for wrestling fan club members; organizing social entertainment events for entertainment purposes for wrestling fan club members; providing online newsletters in the fields of sports entertainment; online journals, namely blogs, in the field of sports entertainment”
Stay tuned for more updates on the mysterious masked wrestler as they become available.
