This week’s episode of AEW Dynamite took place from Pittsburgh, and Tony Khan’s announcement was revealed when it was confirmed that AEW and NJPW will come together for a joint pay-per-view in June.
Tony Khan also appeared after the show and asked fans to record chants for a game which he referred to as Fight Forever. According to fans in attendance the chants included were, “FTR” “Aubrey Edwards” “Cash” “Dax” “BOOM” “Bay Bay” “Adam Page” and “Sting.”
It’s worth noting that AEW filed to trademark “AEW: Fight Forever” on March 21st for merchandise and video game use. Initially it was believed that the game would be released in 2023, but it’s been reported that it could be released as early as September.
The AEW console game is expected to be released on PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
