After a lengthy absence following WrestleMania 40, Roman Reigns is back in the mix. Reigns is set to team up with Cody Rhodes to face Solo Sikoa & Jacob Fatu at Bad Blood this weekend in a match that will be his first since he lost the Undisputed WWE Championship at the Show of Shows.
Recently Roman Reigns was confirmed for several upcoming SmackDown tapings which seems to indicate that we’ll be seeing a lot more of him in the months to come. He was also featured on the poster for the 2025 WWE Royal Rumble.
For the last few years Roman Reigns has walked into the Royal Rumble premium live event as the champion, but WrestleVotes recently noted on Backstage Pass Q&A that he will likely be entering the Royal Rumble match next year.
“From just the short questions that I asked that I got back, he’s probably more likely to be in the Rumble for the first time in a while as opposed to a singles stand-alone match…Roman’s on the Rumble poster, likely to be in the Rumble match.”
