Over the last few years there have been several breakout stars who have taken their careers to the next level and Chad Gable happens to be one of them. Gable has been getting a healthy amount of TV time as the leader of Alpha Academy, but it seems that he could potentially be at the tail end of his run with WWE.
Fightful Select is reporting that the word going around within the wrestling industry is that Chad Gable’s contract with WWE is set to expire next week. As of right now a new deal has not been signed.
It’s expected that there will be interest across the industry in Chad Gable if he does indeed become a free agent. As of this writing Chad Gable’s deal is set to expire next Friday and WWE is said to be interested in re-signing him.
When it comes to possibilities outside of WWE the belief is that there would be a strong push from talent in other companies to get Chad Gable signed. It was also noted that there were some MMA companies that indicated they would be interested in booking Gable if there were an opportunity to do so.
