Over the last few months fans have seen a number of NXT stars get called up to the WWE main roster and now it seems that one of the top names in the NXT women’s division could be getting called up sooner than later.
WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select is reporting that Sol Ruca is set for a slight character refresh as she prepares to join the WWE main roster. The character refresh will reportedly include the introduction of a new entrance theme.
It’s being said that a number of internal supporters believe that her time with the NXT brand has run its course, and a main roster call up is coming soon. Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful was previously told that there are tentative plans for Sol Ruca to be in Chicago around the Elimination Chamber premium live event.
Sol Ruca recently had an impressive showing in the Royal Rumble as she made it to the final three competitors in the women’s Royal Rumble match. She will also be competing in another high profile match in the coming days as she’s currently set to challenge Jacy Jayne for the NXT Women’s Championship on next week’s episode.
