Over the last few years a number of notable names have parted ways with WWE and now it seems that one of the most popular stars on the roster is done with the company.
Earlier today R-Truth took to social media to inform the world the he has been released from WWE when he posted the following statement:
“Im sorry to inform you all. I just got released from WWE. I want to thank WWE for the ride, but MOSTLY I want to thank each and EVERYONE OF YOU who was along for the ride, Thank you for all the love, support, and appreciation you have given me over the years. Thank you ”
R-Truth originally signed with WWE in 1999 and worked under the name K-Kwik until 2021 when he was released. He later returned to WWE in 2008 as R-Truth and has been a fixture on WWE programming ever since.
Throughout his run with WWE, R-Truth managed to become a two time United States Champion, two time Hardcore Champion, two time WWE Tag Team Champion and a fifty four time 24/7 Champion. Truth recently competed in a high profile match when he faced off against John Cena at Saturday Night’s Main Event on May 24th. He also appeared on last week’s episode of SmackDown when he was defeated by JC Mateo.
