Between Monday Night Raw, Friday Night SmackDown and NXT there are quite a few talents on the WWE roster, but one particular Raw star’s contract is coming to an end.
It was noted on Wrestling Observer Live that the belief backstage is that Ricochet has not signed a new contract with WWE. His original three year deal with the company was signed in January of 2018, so it’s believed that his current contract is up soon.
It was reported recently that new contracts were offered to several talents in 2020, but that the contract offers were seen as disappointing compared to the offers talents were getting in 2019.
It was also noted that some wrestlers had turned down the new contract offers.
Recently Ricochet was feuding with RETRIBUTION, but he hasn’t had the best of luck in terms of booking. He recently defeated Drew Gulak on main event, and last appeared on Raw during the December 28 episode where he lost to Mustafa Ali.
It’s not clear at this point in time if he will end up signing a new deal. Stay tuned for updates as they become available.
