A number of AEW stars have parted ways with the company over the last few years and now it seems that another familiar name is likely parting ways with the company sooner than later.
Fightful Select is reporting that Danhausen’s contract with All Elite Wrestling is set to expire in February of 2026. AEW sources noted that Danhausen hasn’t been backstage in ages, and hasn’t been factored into any of the company’s creative plans.
Originally the deal was set to expire in 2025, but AEW extended the contract due to injury time. It was noted that Danhausen actually wanted the deal to lapse so that he would have more freedom regarding merchandising and bookings.
Danhausen first debuted with AEW when he appeared at Beach Break in January of 2022 and shortly after Tony Khan confirmed he had signed with the company.
