In July of 2025, Vince McMahon was involved in a car crash while driving in Westport, Connecticut. It was reported that Vince McMahon’s Bentley was traveling north on Route 15 in Westport when the car rammed into the back of a BMW 430 and collided with a median wooden-beam guardrail.
Now the US Sun has obtained video footage of the car accident from the Connecticut State Police which shows the Bentley making contact with the BMW before slamming into a guardrail. After the two cars collided Vince McMahon pulled over on the side of the highway and he was then approached by a state trooper.
In the the video a state trooper questions why Vince was driving so fast and tells McMahon that he caught him driving 115 MPH. When asked why he was driving so fast Vince McMahon claimed that he was going to visit his granddaughter for her birthday. McMahon refused medical attention when the state trooped asked if he needed an ambulance.
The state trooper noted that he was trying to catch up to Vince McMahon, and Vince insisted that he wasn’t trying to outrun him when he said, “I’m trying to drive. I haven’t been driving my car in God knows how long.”
McMahon referred to himself as a, “Stupid f*****g fool,” while handing his information to the state trooper and also noted that his car was “too fast.” Vince also apologized to the woman who was driving the BMW he rear-ended.
One of the state troopers informed Vince that he would be issuing him a misdemeanor summons for reckless driving, which would require him to appear in court.
Back in October it was reported that Vince McMahon won his reckless driving case, and was given access to a special program where if he met a certain set of criteria the charges will be dropped in a year.
A Stamford, Conn. judge allowed McMahon to enter into an accelerated pretrial rehabilitation that will ensure his case will be thrown out in October of 2026 if he is able to stay out of trouble, donates $1,000 to charity and drives lawfully.
