This year’s WWE Hall of Fame class is impressive to say the least as it features Goldberg, The Dudley Boyz, Hillbilly Jim, Ivory, Jeff Jarrett, Mark Henry and Kid Rock. There were a lot of rumors regarding the 2018 class, most of which turned out to be true, but it looks like one rumored name may not make the final cut.
Throughout WrestleMania season it’s been rumored that Bam Bam Bigelow was being considered for a Hall of Fame induction, but Brad Shepard of BodySlam.net is reporting that Bigelow’s name has not been mentioned since it appeared on the original list for the 2018 Hall of Fame class.
Mark Henry, Hillbilly Jim and Jeff Jarrett were also reportedly added after not appearing on the original list.
It seems that Bam Bam Bigelow is no longer being considered for the 2018 class. Why his name is longer on the list is unknown, but it’s been speculated that he may be inducted next year with WrestleMania 35 set to take place from MetLife Stadium in Bigelow’s home state of New Jersey.
The WWE Hall of Fame induction ceremony will air live on the WWE Network on Friday, April 6.
