Plans For NXT Call-Up Nixed?

With all of the changes taking place in WWE recently you never know when you might see one of your favorite NXT stars get called up, and last week fans saw Toxic Attraction appear on SmackDown when they faced Natalya & Sonya Deville in a WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship Tournament match.

In the end it was Gigi Dolin & Jacy Jayne who picked up the win, but they have since been pulled from the tournament. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that Dolin suffered a concussion and forgot a lot of the match. It’s being said that Natalya had to hold it together.

According to the report Gigi Dolin & Jacy Jayne were originally set to go to the main roster. However, it looks like those plans may have been canceled, or delayed, as Toxic Attraction did a social media video where they talked about taking over SmackDown, but it was taken down.

WWE has announced that tonight on SmackDown Doudrop & Nikki ASH, Deville & Natalya, Tamina & Brooke and Shotzi & Xia Li will face off in a fatal four way. The winners of that match will go on to face Raquel Gonzalez & Aliyah in the WWE Women’s Tag Team Tournament later in the night. Stay tuned for updates.
