For many years the Vince McMahon character was a mainstay on WWE programming, but now Vince McMahon appearances on television are few and far between.
Not only has Vince spent a considerable amount of time working as an on screen character, but he’s also stepped into the ring on quite a few occasions for matches with big names.
A few years ago Kevin Owens was feuding with the McMahons, and he ended up teaming up with Sami Zayn to take on Shane McMahon and Daniel Bryan at WrestleMania 34.
Alex McCarthy of talkSPORT recently spoke with Kevin Owens, and he noted that Owens revealed to Kenny McIntosh of Inside The Ropes that at one point the plan was for Kevin and Sami to face Vince and Shane McMahon.
Unfortunately for Kevin and Sami they did not win their match at WrestleMania 34, but both seem to be doing well at the moment, as Sami is the Intercontinental Champion and KO is set to challenge Roman Reigns for the Universal Title at TLC later this month.
