Last year Edge did the unthinkable when he returned to the ring during the Royal Rumble match, and this year he returned during the Royal Rumble once again, and he won it all.
According to Dave Meltzer of F4Wonline.com, Edge will go on to challenge Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship at WrestleMania 37.
“Not sure when this will be officially announced, but Roman Reigns vs. Edge is the planned main event at WrestleMania.”
Edge and Randy Orton were the first two entrants in the men’s Royal Rumble match on Sunday, and Edge last eliminated Orton to pick up the win.
Roman Reigns retained his Universal Championship after defeating Kevin Owens in a Last Man Standing match.
