Business has certainly picked up on Raw in recent months as Rhea Ripley was forced to vacate the WWE Women’s World Championship after she was injured during a backstage brawl with Liv Morgan. In the weeks that followed Becky Lynch won the WWE Women’s World Championship then dropped the belt to Liv Morgan as Morgan vowed to take everything Rhea Ripley loves away from her.
Over the last few months Liv Morgan has been involved in a storyline with Dominik Mysterio and they teamed up on Monday Night Raw this week. After Liv and Dominik defeated Rey Mysterio and Zelina Vega, Rhea Ripley made her surprise return. Ripley confronted Dominik Mysterio as Liv Morgan exited the ring.
It seems that Liv Morgan and Rhea Ripley are on a collision course, and the Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting it is strongly expected that Morgan vs. Ripley will take place at SummerSlam.
SummerSlam will air live from Cleveland Browns Stadium on Saturday, August 3 and the current card for the event can be seen below.
