Piper Niven Responds To Body Shaming Following Her WWE Raw Debut

Eva Marie’s big in-ring return was advertised for this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw, and ahead of the show it was announced that Eva Marie would be facing off against Naomi.

Instead Eva Marie returned with NXT UK star Piper Niven as her muscle, and Niven ended up wrestling in Eva’s place. Piper Niven destroyed Naomi in her Raw debut, and following the match some fans were posting negative comments about her on social media.

Several WWE stars have come forth to show their supper for Niven in response to the body shaming, and Piper herself recently responded when she posted the following on Twitter:

“Successful big people are often met with this because we remind people of their own shortcomings, they want to believe that success is only for the “perfect people” and that’s why they didn’t achieve their dreams and we prove them wrong. Don’t even worry about them, I don’t. 😘”

Piper Niven was not announced by name during her appearance on Raw, and the announcers acted as if she was a new Superstar. WWE officials are reportedly discussing ideas for the name she will be using on the main roster and you can get more on that here.
