SmackDown Live is supposed to be the Land of Opportunity, but it doesn’t look like many fans jumped at the opportunity to buy tickets for this week’s episode at the Talking Stick Resort Arena in Phoenix, Arizona. Photos from the taping have surfaced online, and they show that half the arena was mostly empty with sections on the top level closed off.
I honestly feel horrible for the talent on #SDLive because this isn’t their fault. Something needs to change ASAP. #WWE pic.twitter.com/fXTHSx6xOA

WWE recently announced that brand exclusive pay-per-views will be ending with Backlash in May, so perhaps that will have a positive impact on tickets sales for the blue brand going forward.
The main roster is also due for another draft or shake-up over the next few months, so it seems that WWE officials might want to reshuffle the deck on SmackDown to get fans interested again.
In a few weeks the stars of SmackDown Live will compete at the Fastlane pay-per-view, and you can check out the updated card below.
