It’s been an interesting week for TNA. Billy Corgan is now the President of the company and Dixie Carter is now the Chairman.
Last week on TNA Impact Bobby Lashley put his X-Division and World Championship belts on the line in a Title vs. Titles match which also featured James Storm defending the King of the Mountain Championship.
In the end it was Bobby Lashley who walked away with all the gold.
However, TNA has retired the King of the Mountain Championship and at the Impact tapings on Saturday night a new title called the TNA Grand Championship was unveiled.
An eight man tournament will be held to crown the first champion, and according to fans in attendance, some interesting rules will be applied to the belt.
Each match will have timed rounds, and points for the matches will be awarded by judges, similar to MMA style rules.

KOTM was supposed to be for TNA hosting GFW and other promos coming through anyway, that failed miserably. It’s been over for that belt anyway.
