Earlier this year it was announced that the WWE Network would be moving to NBC’s Peacock streaming service, and over the last few weeks several segments have been removed from the WWE section on Peacock.
A Reddit user noted that a Goldust segment which took place on the November 24, 1997 episode of Monday Night Raw has been removed from the library. The segment features Goldust introducing Luna Vachon, and it appears that the segment was removed due to the black paint on Goldust’s face.
Peacock has been reviewing 17,000 hours of WWE Network content and recently a segment where Vince McMahon uses the N-word was edited out of a backstage segment from the Survivor Series 2005 pay-per-view.
The WrestleMania 6 match between Roddy Piper and Bad News Brown which features Roddy Piper with half his body painted black has also been removed.
Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
