Roman Reigns has had a huge impact on the WWE landscape since he returned at SummerSlam, and he currently sits at the top of the mountain on SmackDown with the Universal Championship on his shoulder.
Fans have been seeing a new version of Roman Reigns over the last few weeks, and many people were shocked when he was paired with Paul Heyman on WWE programming.
Fightful Select, following a tip from Louis Dangoor of WrestleTalk, reports that Paul Heyman has been “heavily influential” in how Roman Reigns has been booked since he returned to WWE programming.
It’s being said that Heyman’s role in contributing to Roman’s booking has been no different than how he worked closely with talents like Brock Lesnar, Goldberg and Ronda Rousey.
Heyman is also credited with the reveal of himself as Roman’s advocate on SmackDown, the finish of the Payback main event, and the promo on SmackDown last week.
