Back in April, Paul Heyman shocked the world when he turned on both CM Punk and Roman Reigns during the WrestleMania 41 main event. Roman Reigns and CM Punk were then destroyed by Seth Rollins and Bron Breakker on the Raw after WrestleMania, and The Tribal Chief was absent from WWE programming in the months that followed.
Roman Reigns finally made his return last week on Monday Night Raw and he got some revenge when he took out Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed. The former Undisputed WWE Champion was confirmed for Raw this week with the idea being that he would finally confront Paul Heyman.
During the main event segment Paul Heyman made his way to the ring alongside Breakker and Reed. Heyman said that he has a lot of things to get off his chest before “he” comes out. The fans chanted “OTC” and Roman’s music hit before Heyman could elaborate.
Roman Reigns made his way down to the ring as Paul Heyman told Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed to stand down while Roman entered. Heyman attempted to speak several times, but the fans drowned him out with boos. He told Roman that he never wants to be disrespectful, or rude, like some of the people in Texas.
Paul Heyman told Roman Reigns that Seth Rollins is going to be out of action for a long time, so there’s a leadership position open in his new group. Heyman said together they can fix this. He went on to tell Roman that he’ll always be family, and he loves his Tribal Chief.
Roman Reigns took the mic from Heyman and told the fans to acknowledge him. Paul Heyman threw his one up. Reigns told Heyman that he’s not a Wiseman anymore, he’s just a dumba**. Breakker got heated as Roman told him that Heyman is going to do the same thing to him and try to take all the credit when he becomes the man.
The Tribal Chief acknowledged that Heyman had a part in him becoming the greatest champion, but he didn’t have a part in helping him keep that title. Roman gave a shout out to The Usos, Solo Siko and Sami for helping him keep the title.
Bron Breakker continued to get heated as Reed and Heyman held him back. Reigns said he made Paul Heyman a part of his family, and he threw it all away. The Tribal Chief said, “I didn’t ruin The Bloodline, this dumba** did.” Breakker stepped up and grabbed the mic.
Breakker told Reigns that he’s the big dog now, he’s the top dog, he’s the future of WWE, and he’s the man around here now. Bron encouraged Roman to do what he does best, turn around, and leave.
Roman told Breakker he didn’t hear anything he just said, so he’s not sure his mic is working. Reigns tossed his own mic to Breakker then hit him with the Superman Punch. He tried to take on Reed and Breakker alone, but the numbers game was too much.
Jey Uso made the save as he ran down to the ring to help Roman. They hit a double spear as Jey took down Breakker and Roman took down Reed. Roman and Jey stood tall as Raw went off the air.
