Paige On If She Will Return To WWE, How Long She Will Be Out Of Action For

Paige is currently serving out the remainder of a 60 day suspension from WWE, and TMZ recently asked her and Alberto Del Rio about the suspension. Paige declined to talk about the suspension specifically, noting that she can’t really say much, and she already said what she needed to say on Twitter.

The interviewer then asked her if she would be returning to WWE and she laughed then responded by saying, “Yeah, I have to.”

Later in the video Alberto Del Rio said he supports Paige being in WWE, and he joked that she has to be there because her contract lasts another 39 years. Paige was asked again about how long she plans to continue wrestling and the former Divas Champion said that she plans on doing it for as long as she can.

“Oh no, I do love wrestling, whether I do it with WWE or not, I love wrestling. So, I’m going to be staying in it for as long as I possibly can.”

It was recently announced that Paige’s boyfriend Alberto Del Rio has been appointed as the new president of MMA promotion Combate Americas, and she was asked if she’ll be working there. She said she won’t be working there, but noted that she will be spending time with the promotion while she recovers from neck surgery.

“For the next 6 or 7 months, or so, while I’m recovering from my surgery, I’m going to be going with him everywhere, like his little shadow. So, yeah I get to spend some time there. Not necessarily work there, but I get to be there.”

Although Paige will be returning to WWE, Alberto Del Rio doesn’t seem to have any interest in returning right now.

“I don’t think so, it was me saying I don’t want to stay here, I want to go and do something, to be happier, to be better, and this is not the place. I’m always going to be thankful with those guys, because they put me out there, they let me show my talent to the world. But the last six months I was just unhappy. That’s why I decided to leave, not the other way around.”
