It’s been a while since fans have seen Paige make an appearance on WWE programming, but she’s still a part of the WWE family. The former WWE Divas Champion is still under contract, but she revealed during a recent Twitch stream that her current deal with WWE is set to expire in June of 2022.
“My contract is up in June of next year. Who knows if they would want to give me a new contract? Who’s to say they would want to? If they did, I’d love to have Twitch as a part of the contract.”
Paige last competed in December of 2017 and she was unfortunately forced into an early retirement due to a career ending neck injury. Since retiring from in-ring competition Paige has gone on to have various on screen roles such as the General Manager of SmackDown, and the manager of the Kabuki Warriors, but it’s been a while since she’s been utilized.
Despite the fact that she’s currently retired Paige has shown interest in returning to the ring, and last month she posted a tweet noting that her neck is feeling awesome.
