Paige had a good run as the SmackDown Live General Manager, but her run came to an end a few months ago when the McMahons decided to do away with the General Manager position for both brands.
It’s been a while since fans have seen Paige on Tuesday nights, but she made an appearance backstage on this week’s episode of SmackDown.
The IIconics defended their WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles against two local competitors during the show, and while the match was taking place cameras cut to Paige who was watching the match backstage.
After the title bout Paige was interviewed, and she said that The IIconics’ victory over The Brooklyn Belles was impressive, but she teased that next week she will be “bringing an impressive tag team” of her own.
Since being taken off TV Paige has said several times that she would be interested in managing other wrestlers on the roster.
With the WWE Superstar Shake-Up coming next week, there’s no telling who she might be paired up with.
