Paige Makes AEW Debut At Grand Slam

You never know what’s going to happen when you watch AEW programming, and this week Toni Storm defended the interim AEW Women’s Championship against Serena Deeb, Athena and Britt Baker in a fatal four way match. It was Toni Storm who picked up the win, but after the match Jamie Hayter came out to help Britt Baker and Serena Deeb beat down Athena and Toni Storm.

Britt Baker went to put her glove on, but then the song “Zombified” by Falling In Reverse started to play and the name “Saraya” flashed on the screen. Saraya (formerly known as Paige in WWE) then made her way out into the arena to a massive pop.

Saraya stood in the ring as the heels looked stunned on the outside. The crowd continued to cheer while Saraya invited Toni Storm and Athena into the ring to end the segment.

It appears that Saraya has signed a deal with AEW as Tony Khan noted on Twitter that she is now All Elite. Stay tuned for more updates on Saraya’s AEW status as they become available.
