Becky Lynch made her way down to the ring on SmackDown Live this week with both of her belts, and she once again bragged about beating Ronda Rousey at WrestleMania.
As Becky was cutting her promo, she was interrupted by Ember Moon who announced that she is now part of the SmackDown Live roster.
However, Ember Moon was interrupted by Bayley and she announced that she has also joined SmackDown. The Montreal crowd wasn’t very receptive to Bayley, and they booed her when she brought up the fact that she and Sasha were the first WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions.
The IIconics then interrupted Bayley and cut a promo about their belts, but then Paige made her way out.
Paige was about to introduce her new tag team, but Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose cut her off then walked to the ring and teased that Absolution is reuniting. Paige said that’s not happening, as she’s not there for Mandy and Sonya.
She then introduced her new tag team, Asuka and Kairi Sane.
Paige told them to hit the ring, and a brawl broke out, followed by a heels vs. faces eight woman tag team match.
