It’s been years since Paige was forced to retire due to injury, but during her run as an active WWE Superstar she created quite the legacy for herself.
Career ending injuries have become a hot topic in the world of professional wrestling over the last few years because many people thought that they would never see Edge and Daniel Bryan in the ring again, but both talents are currently booked for a big match at WrestleMania this year.
Paige discussed her status on Oral Sessions with Renee Paquette, and she teased a potential return to the ring at some point.
“It [neck] feels good and, honestly, it actually scares me as well to maybe come back to wrestling because I really want to and I would come back tomorrow but I’m always gonna have in the back of my head, like what if something happens and I do get paralyzed? So it does scare me. I know I’m not gonna be fully ready mentally to come back, but watch out world! Because when I am mentally ready to come back, everyone’s in trouble!”
