The trials and tribulations of Paige and Alberto El Patron seem to get more complicated by the day. These two love birds are often called the Bonnie and Clyde of pro wrestling and for good reason. Wherever they go nobody can tell what will happen next or what kind of shenanigans these two will get into.
The couple recently had a bit of a blow up at an Orlando airport that resulted in a lot of buzz from the internet wrestling community as well as the mainstream press. Alberto was being investigated for domestic abuse in this instance but now it turns out the tables could be turned against Paige.
Pro Wrestling Sheet reports the Orlando Police Department just released a statement saying:
“OPD detectives have found that probable cause exists to charge Saraya Bevis with Battery (Domestic Violence). Detectives have sent the information to the State Attorney’s Office for review and the SAO will determine whether to file charges in the case.”
With this kind of news coming out surrounding this event it is evident that this ordeal is not over for Paige and Alberto. The trouble seems to keep coming in waves and it doesn’t seem to be slowing down.
Paige’s family recently stripped Alberto of their company’s biggest title after Global Force Wrestling suspended him due to the investigation on him.
The investigation into Alberto’s part in this domestic incident isn’t over either as his part in this situation is still an open case as well. Paige did disclose that she was the one who was being held for battery so it might be possible fans won’t know the whole story until everything comes out in the wash or in a courtroom.
We really do wish the best for Paige and Alberto the best and we are sincerely rooting for them as a couple and individuals. Hopefully this will blow over, but in the meantime it might be a good idea to keep your fingers crossed for our favorite British Crumpet, Paige.
