Otis And Asuka Win The Money In The Bank Ladder Match

Money in the Bank ladder matches are usually pretty unique, but this year’s Money in the Bank ladder matches were unlike anything fans have ever seen before.

Both the men’s and the women’s ladder matches aired simultaneously, and the stars of their respective divisions battled throughout WWE HQ as they attempted to earn a Money in the Bank contract.

The women started their match in the lobby, while the men started their match in a gym on the ground floor of WWE HQ in Stamford, CT.

At one point AJ Styles opened a door and had flashbacks of The Undertaker as he saw a coffin in a random room. Aleister Black locked him in the room, and the rest of the Superstars all caught up to each other in a room where Paul Heyman was eating catering.

All of the remaining Superstars from both divisions got into a food fight then continued their journey to the roof.

AJ Styles reentered the match, and Daniel Bryan and Styles battled into Vince McMahon’s office. Vince kicked them out, then they both fixed the chairs in his office, and left as Vince put hand sanitizer on.

Nia Jax and Asuka were the first ones to make it to the roof followed by Lacey Evans. Asuka battled Lacey Evans on the ladder, but Nia Jax pulled Evans down and they collided.

Asuka then climbed the ladder, but King Corbin tried to stop her so she kicked him in the head and he fell off the ladder. Asuka grabbed the briefcase to win the women’s MITB match.

The men’s match came down to Corbin, Otis, Black, Styles and Mysterio on the roof. Corbin threw Mysterio and Black off the roof.

Styles climbed the ladder as Daniel Bryan stopped him. Corbin stopped Bryan, then Otis came in to stop AJ.

It came down to Styles and Corbin at the top of the ladder and they both grabbed it. Elias randomly appeared and hit Corbin with a guitar from behind causing him to fall off the ladder, and AJ dropped the briefcase.

Otis caught it, and he was announced as the winner.
