WrestleMania is less than two weeks away, but the company is reportedly taping the Show of Shows at the Performance Center this week.
Last week on Friday Night SmackDown, Paige made an appearance via Skype and announced that at WrestleMania 36 Bayley will be defending her SmackDown Women’s Championship against Sasha Banks, Lacey Evans, Tamina Snuka, Dana Brooke and Naomi.
It was recently reported on Wrestling Observer Radio that original plans for WrestleMania called for Sasha Banks and Bayley to face off in a singles match.
WWE officials reportedly felt their wasn’t enough time to build the feud up, so they decided to hold off on the match.
It’s been speculated that the seeds will be planted for the feud at WrestleMania then WWE will continue building to a singles match.
